Window Privacy Film installations

Cedar Hall School Benfleet
This is a new service we offer here at Priority Support services, supplying and fitting privacy window film; fitted by our in-house installation team. The classroom in question looks out on to the main car park, an easy distraction for the young pupils hence a solution was required.
​
We installed the privacy film and now the teacher is confident her pupils are focusing on lessons and not what's going on outside.
​
We were also asked to come up with a solution for a new office to reduce the 'gold fish bowl' effect, whilst allowing the teacher to see out without everyone seeing in! We installed a one way mirror effect film, providing the correct solution to the problem.

Reach n Wash in operation

When looking to purchase our Reach n Wash system we spent some considerable time reviewing the systems available on the market, there were quite a few.
​
We settled on the Varitech Streamline with the 400 litre vehicle based tank installed by Varitech at their Devon based facility. The vehicle unit is complimented by the 1000 litre tank here at our office base at Old Hall Farm Rettendon. Essex is known for it's 'hard water' with reading direct from the tap approx 380, once filtered through the Varitech system either the vehicle based or static system we achieve a reading of 3 or less from the brush head!

The back up and support from Ian and his team at Varitech has been second to none. This has been matched by the performance of the system itself including the light weight pole system, we went with this range for ease of operation when reaching heights of 50ft plus. Both Southend United's Roots Hall Stadium and Leyton Orient's Breyer Group Stadiums push the system all the way due to the height of their respective main stands, however, we are very pleased to confirm that all glazing has been reached and cleaned to very good standards at both clubs.

Priority Clean Up at V Fest 2020

We received a contact request via our website for cleaning services on 29th July, upon speaking to the contact it soon became clear this would be no ordinary request.
​
The event would be taking place the week commencing Monday 10th August, comprising of two days set up, building staging and TV podiums etc, followed by two days filming and a final day taking down and removing all evidence of there ever being a film set (complete with full-size stage, presenters areas, kitchens, crew and artists restaurant and of course washroom and toilet facilities).
Due to restrictions concerning large gatherings we knew numbers would be kept at a minimum but then with over 125 people in attendance on filming days alone, we knew we had to implement strict Covid-19 related cleaning regimes to ensure all in attendance, including our own staff, would remain safe and well.
​
We saw daily changes in the client’s requirements but utilising our experience gained from providing similar services to events such as the Commonwealth Games and Olympics, it was not a problem. Numerous questions were raised, had they taken this into account, had they considered this, did they have this specific service covered, right down to consumables, waste removal requirements and site venue security and access protocols.
​
Wednesday 5th August and the news had finally broken that our ’hush hush' event was actually the V Festival. This years event would be on a smaller scale, but with the emphasis on safety and hygiene.
​
Our Operations Team communicated with our client throughout and worked on-site daily throughout the week, working full shifts ensuring the performing artists and their backing groups were all looked after.
​
40 shifts a team of 8 operatives, 1 Ops Manager and head office support later...we delivered a very successful support service to V Fest 2020.
